Naturally, human beings tend to emulate others’ appearance and behaviour, especially those they admire. Let me ask you a question: who has the innermost influence of your life? Perhaps, you might need some time to think it over.
The innermost influence on Christians is the Holy Spirit, and this is what Paul talks about in the Epistle to the Ephesians. The presence of God’s Spirit is evident in the lives of believers. He is working at the core of their inner beings or souls. Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.
Ponder
16I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.17Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. (Ephesians 3:16–18 NLT)
