We often shake our heads with disapproval at the shocking behaviour of some notorious characters. Mind you, they were children once. There might be something missing in their growing years. Perhaps, their parents had spoiled them. Possibly, their teachers might have led some of them to academic excellence, but have ignored to guide them to become a moral person.
If a child is growing in wisdom and in stature, and in favour with God and all the people. We would exclaim, “What a child!” This child was Jesus, and He is a perfect role model for children’s development. Let’s ponder Luke 2:52.
Ponder
52And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52 NIV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, can You help me to guide the children around me to grow in Your grace?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the children that you know and ask God to bless their lives.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a Christian family your wish of becoming a blessing to the children around you.
