Does Eternity Matter to Me? (i365 Day 358) 2.0

We talked about the Christian faith and eternity, but his immediate response was, “I only live for today. I am busy enough and I don’t have time to think of eternity.” Honestly speaking, I am saddened to see that some people who only live for today, and they don’t think eternity matters to them at all.

When we think of eternity, it would be natural for us to consider related topics as well. I guess most people might be interested to know more about the origin of the universe, the beginning of life and God. The Bible speaks of the Creator as the eternal God (Romans 16:26). According to my own experience, my faith in the Eternal One makes me humbler and gives me a better perspective of life. Do you know God personally? As for those who are already followers of Jesus Christ, let us live not just for today, but for the glory of the eternal God. Let’s ponder Revelation 1:8.

Ponder

8“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”(Revelation 1:8 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, can You help me to live for Your glory?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to help you to live for His glory.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a Christian your wish of living for God’s glory.
