Extra Virgin Olive Oil (i365 Day 333) 2.0

What kind of oil do you use? Occasionally, I like to dip my bread with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Not only it tastes refreshing, it is healthy as well. Cooking oil is a necessity of our daily life, but most of us don’t pay a lot of attention to it.

Moses reminds God’s people that God is a loving provider, as He will continue to provide their daily necessities. Oftentimes, most God’s people tend to forget that God is the abundant provider, thus we need to be reminded of His faithfulness from time to time. So, whenever you cook with oil, do remember God is your loving Provider! Let’s ponderthe reminder of Moses.

Ponder

13He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals. When you arrive in the land he swore to give your ancestors, you will have large harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and great herds of cattle, sheep, and goats. (Deuteronomy 7:13 NLT)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, can You help me to remember You as the faithful provider of my needs?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can remember God is your faithful provider.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a seeker of Christ your experience of God’s faithful provision.
