The Bible never condones slavery. It is just one of the twisted systems invented by humans after the fall of humankind. All humans are precious and equal in the eyes of God, and no one has the right to enslave another person.
Slavery is synonymous to without freedom, and without freedom is extremely painful. In the days of the Apostle Paul, slaves are everywhere. Strangely, he calls himself a slave of others for Jesus’ sake. As you can see, Paul was willing to give up his freedom and dignity for the right cause. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
