Giving Up Your Freedom for The Right Cause (i365 Day 320) 2.0

The Bible never condones slavery. It is just one of the twisted systems invented by humans after the fall of humankind. All humans are precious and equal in the eyes of God, and no one has the right to enslave another person.

Slavery is synonymous to without freedom, and without freedom is extremely painful. In the days of the Apostle Paul, slaves are everywhere. Strangely, he calls himself a slave of others for Jesus’ sake. As you can see, Paul was willing to give up his freedom and dignity for the right cause. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.

Ponder

5For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5 NET)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear Jesus Christ, can You help me to surrender my life to You?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your prayer of surrendering all to Jesus Christ with a fellow Christian.
