In our world today, right timing is crucial to one’s success. Your product might be very good, but you need the right timing to launch it. Even a world-class football striker needs to have patience to score a goal; when the right timing comes, he must grab this golden opportunity.
In the Book of Ecclesiastes, the preacher talks about a “season” for everything, he isn’t talking about a calendar, but the right timing for everything. God has the right timing for everything too. As a believer in Christ, we must learn to wait for God.
Let’s ponder the words of Isaiah.
Ponder
18Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. (Isaiah 30:18 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, could You give me the patience to wait for You?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the patience to wait for God’s right timing.
