Perspective on Life (i365 Day 277) 2.0

COVID-19 impacts all areas of our lives. For sure, it has a lasting impact on our economy. Also, it is affecting our physical health and emotional wellbeing. Sadly, it is disrupting our normal relationship with one another. If you keep on counting its effects, the list goes on and on. Have you ever considered that it would change your perspective on life?

We are living in a global village as we are interconnected by means of media and internet. Because of that, almost at the blink of an eye, we receive good and bad news at any moment. Although we face the same coming days, we would have different perspective about it. Our emotional condition would have an obvious effect on our bodies and souls. Also, it would affect our perspective on life. As for those who have broken hearts, they see only bad days, but as for people who have cheerful hearts, they view their future as if it is an ongoing feast.

Let’s ponder Proverbs 15:13–15.

Ponder

13A joyful heart makes the face cheerful, but by a painful heart the spirit is broken. 14The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly. 15All the days of the afflicted are bad, but one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast. (Proverbs 15:13–15 NET)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, could You change the condition of my heart?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you will have a cheerful heart all the time.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your joyous experience with a non-believer.
