Falling in a Dream (i365 Day 290) 2.0

Have you ever dreamed of falling in a dream? I think I did, but it happened a long time ago. According to some experts, when people dream of falling themselves, it might indicate that they feel they are losing control of something. Who wouldn’t have insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties in life? No wonder many people often dream of falling.

In our waking life, we could literally or metaphorically fall from a high place. Interestingly, when God’s people are falling, He will stop them from actually falling over. When His people have been knocked over by someone, He will lift them up. We might lose the control of our situations, but God will take care of us!

Let’s ponder the words of Psalms.

Ponder

14The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. 15The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. (Psalm 145:14–15 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, could You uphold me when I fall?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that God will uphold you when you fall.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your spiritual experience with a non-believer.
