Transparent Life (i365 Day 251) 2.0

Human beings are social beings; therefore, mingling with one another is good and normal. In terms of socialisation, let me ask you a question: when people interact with one another, how do they want others to perceive them? Quite a lot of men and women like to brag a little bit before their friends and relatives. Some folks love to impress the people around them. Honestly, there aren’t a lot of individuals who like to share with others their weaknesses and struggles. Being transparent before others is a rare thing to do as most of us are so conscious of our own self-image.

The Apostle Paul is the mentor of Timothy. He lived a transparent life before his student. Let’s ponder his reminder to his apprentice.

Ponder

10But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance. (2 Timothy 3:10 NLT)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear Jesus, could You teach me how to live a more transparent life before others?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you have the determination of leading a transparent life.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your weaknesses and struggles with a believer that you trust.
