I like the following anonymous saying: “To err is human; to blame it on somebody else is even more human.” Blaming someone is so easy but being blameless seems to be impossible. However, the Apostle Paul encourages believers to lead a blameless life. Although the standard is very high, it’s the direction that we must embrace.
Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
Ponder
14Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,(Philippians 2:14–15 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me how to live a blameless life?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the determination of leading a blameless life.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your experience of leading a blameless life with a Christian. At the end of the conversation, pray together.
