If it were snowing heavily, and you were driving in the middle of nowhere at night, I think you would wish your car’s headlights could be brighter.
Automakers often come up with new and useful technologies. According to a report, the laser headlights of a prestige carmaker are 10 times brighter than the light generated by LED headlights. That’s great but these headlamps are very expensive!
As Christians, we should shine like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Our lives are these lights shining in the darkness. Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.
Ponder
14Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (Philippians 2:14–15 NLT)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear Jesus, could You help me to shine like bright lights in this corrupt world?”
