Left Behind (i365 Day 236) 2.0

Countless families with many children had some sort of similar experiences like below: as they were heading for a family outing, parents absentmindedly left one of their children behind. If you were that child, how would you feel? Being left behind isn’t a pleasant feeling!

For the sake of evangelism, Paul suffered a great deal for his Lord and Saviour. Shortly before his death, he was left behind by his coworkers. However, he was certain that Jesus Christ was with him all along.

Let’s ponder the words of Paul.

Ponder

15You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message. 16At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. 17But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. (2 Timothy 4:15–17 NIV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear Jesus, could I feel Your presence all the time?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you will continue to live in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your recent experience with your family and give thanks to God.
