Fire drills are essential! If you go for fire drills, don’t take it lightly, as it might save you in case of a fire. I can think of a few things that you must follow: first, remain calm; second, stop all your work; third, follow the instructions of the fire wardens; last but not least, pay extra attention to the location of the fire escapes.
The world is full of temptations and troubles. They are like fires! However, God has made the way of escape for us in Jesus Christ. If you ever encountered any temptation or problem, let me encourage you to turn to Jesus for help.
Let’s ponder Hebrews 2:18.
Ponder
18Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18 NIV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear Jesus, could You teach me how to overcome this terrible temptation?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray to Jesus Christ for the strength to overcome your temptation and trouble.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your victory over temptation with a good friend.
