“Oops! That hurts!” After a serious injury to your wrist, the pain will linger on for a while. The ache is affecting your whole body and you might have sat up all night to keep it company.
The above illustration can be used to explain one of the ministries of God’s Spirit. The Holy Spirit will produce within each Christian a concern and love for other believers. Not only God’s Spirit is the agent of church unity, He is also the facilitator of loving care in church communities.
Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.

1So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. (Philippians 2:1–2 ESV)
