Do You Care? (i365 Day 221) 2.0

We are so fortunate that there are so many self-care books and resources around. It’s important that we take good care of ourselves. If you know how to deal with our own problems, the world has one less problem to worry about.

The Bible is pretty comprehensive; it speaks of self-care as well as caring for others. Self-care is inward-looking and caring for others is outward-looking. Not only we should take good care of ourselves, but we should care for the people around us. Our wellbeing is interrelated with others; therefore, when we care for one another, in a way it’s taking care of ourselves.

Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.

Ponder

4Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:4 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me to be a more caring person?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the opportunities that you can learn caring.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your experience with a new convert.
