My Duty (i365 Day 198) 2.0

When I was a child, my parents often reminded me of my priorities in life. The principle is put work before pleasure.

We all have various duties in different stages of our lives. If we aren’t careful, we might be led astray by other things. It’s good to have someone to remind us of our unique duties from time to time. God knows our forgetfulness and lack of focus; therefore, He keeps on reminding us of our duties in the Bible. Let’s ponder Paul’s words.

Ponder

14And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. (1 Thessalonians 5:14 NIV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You remind my duty from time to time?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the eagerness and determination to accomplish your duty.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge.
