Human Goodness (i365 Day 194) 2.0

Racism exists everywhere. Discrimination is at every corner. Outbursts of hatred are seen at neighbourhoods, workplaces and political arenas. In a world lacking in goodness, do we still have hope and future? The answer is yes. Instead of placing our hope in humanity, we should focus on God. The Christian hope is not hope in human goodness, but our hope is placed in God’s goodness. Because God is good all the time, we can trust that He will take good care of us!

Let’s ponder the words of the psalmist.

Ponder

19How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. (Psalm 31:19 NLT)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me how to trust in Your goodness all the time?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can trust in God’s goodness all the time.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a believer your experience of God’s goodness.
