Magnifying glasses are essential in some trades. Without these gadgets, their work would surely come to a halt. Let me relate it to my faith in Jesus Christ. Church leaders often gather in conferences to talk about church growth. Many pastors and leaders lament that their congregations are shrinking over the years. According to my humble opinion, if believers magnify Christ in their daily living, local churches will grow qualitatively and quantitively. Paul speaks of magnifying Christ in his letter. Let’s ponder Philippians 1:20.
20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. (Philippians 1:20 NIV)
Let’s pose a question to God. “Can You teach me how to magnify You in my daily living?”
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you will magnify Jesus Christ in your daily living.
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a Christian your experience of exalting Jesus Christ.
