It’s Summer again! (i365 Day 172) 2.0

When I was a kid, I always looked forward to summer break. Summer meant no more boring classes and freedom at last. In countries with harsh winter conditions, summertime is a joyous and celebrative season. As a Canadian, I love summer even more now.

As there are no signs indicating the end of COVID-19 in the very near future, some people have become very pessimistic because they don’t have anything to look forward to. You might be one of them, but don’t forget God is the Creator of all seasons, and most important of all, He is still in control of all things. Let’s ponder Psalm 74:17.

Ponder

17You set up all the boundaries of the earth; you created the cycle of summer and winter. (Psalm 74:17 NET)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “I am frustrated because of the pandemic. Could you teach me how to draw hope from Your Word?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to grant you hope and things to look forward to in summer.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Encourage a non-believer with the newfound hope that you have in Christ.
