Many neighbours fight among themselves. It’s common that many family members don’t get along well with one another. In the workplaces, most co-workers and bosses don’t have harmonious relationships. Politicians fight with one another with words, and even worse, they even fight with their fists! It’s sad to witness violence, racism, political unrest, civil wars and all kinds of wars in human history. When will there be finally peace on earth?
With merely human effort, we cannot create peace on earth. On the other hand, God can singularly bring peace to us because He is the origin and provider of peace. The ultimate fulfillment of peace will come when Jesus Christ returns to the earth. Let’s ponder the salutation of Paul.

2Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:2 NIV)

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me how to live out Your peace among the people around me?”
