The Origin of Grace (i365 Day 154) 2.0

In some churches that I know, many ladies are called Grace. If you happened to be in one of these congregations on a Sunday morning, there is a probability that you would be surrounded by several “Graces” at the same time. Grace is a good Christian name, reminding us of God’s free and unmerited favour.

In the Epistle to the Philippian church, the Apostle Paul reminded the followers of Jesus Christ that the origin of grace was from God and the Saviour. God’s grace is what we need every day! Let’s ponder the salutation of Paul.

Ponder

2Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:2 NIV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me to depend on Your grace in my daily walk with You?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to give you the determination to depend on His grace.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Explain to a non-believer about God’s grace and how it transformed you.
