I woke up in the middle of the night. Unintentionally staring out the window, I couldn’t believe what I saw. The sky was lit up with millions of glistening stars which I hadn’t witnessed before in my entire life. Right at that moment, it was as if God spoke to me through the beauty of this cosmic phenomenon. Somehow my wife was awakened from her sleep and we ended up stargazing together. For sure it was a special night for both of us!
After the deliverance from the Egyptians, God was leading His people by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. It was a strange cosmic phenomenon that no other nations have experienced before. Let’s ponder Exodus 13:21.
Ponder
21And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. (Exodus 13:21 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, I am scared of the future. Could I encounter Your leading in my life?”
