Aren’t You Responsible? (i365 Day 152) 2.0

Who should be blamed for the downfall of the company? Who is responsible for this failing government? Business executives love the blame game. The media and politicians are the experts of the blame game. Whenever something nasty happened, people would start to play the blame game. This isn’t new because it started at the very beginning of human history. Let’s ponder the beginning of the first blame game.

Ponder

12The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”13Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” (Genesis 3:12–13 NIV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You give me the courage of being responsible for my own mistake instead of blaming others?

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to grant you the courage of being responsible for your own mistake.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your lesson of learning accountability with a colleague or friend.
