All of a sudden, the power was out in my house. According to my recollection, the power outage lasted for a while. As it happened on a hot summer day, most of the food in my fridge had been spoiled. This horrible event was called the Northeast blackout of 2003.
The Bible depicts a truth about God – He is all powerful, that is, omnipotent. Power outages often happen in many countries around the world, but the almighty God will never run out of power! Let’s ponder Revelation 21:22.
Ponder
22And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. (Revelation 21:22 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Can I experience more of Your unending power?”
