Like many countries around the world, Canada is experiencing an aging population. Healthy eating, sensible exercise and cosmetic products might decelerate the process of aging, but it is a reality that all humans have to face.
As we age, we have to check on our physical and emotional health. Moreover, we have to pay attention to our character formation. We might grow old as a grumbler, but we can choose to end up as a gracious senior. The choice is ours to make. Proverbs 16:31 speaks of godly seniors. Let’s ponder this Bible verse.
31Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life. (Proverbs 16:31 ESV)
Let’s pose a question to God. “As I grow older every day, can You help me to grow in grace and compassion?”
Let’s practice what you learnt. Reflect on your past years and ask God to help you to become a better person.
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your determination and slight improvement in character with a believer.
