Dynastic Changes (i365 Day 136) 2.0

As a rule of nature, generations come and go, unpredictable things will appear on the global scene. No one can predict the future. Before 2020 started, not a single soul could foresee the world had to face the new reality of isolation and suffering.

All normal folks long for peace and prosperity, and most individuals want to stay away from any sort of suffering. Like I said earlier, all of these things are beyond our control. Let me give you an example from the Bible. Under the rule of the old king, the Israelis led a good life in Egypt, but a new dynasty suddenly took their happiness away. Let’s ponder the cause of their suffering.

Ponder

8Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. 9And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us. 10Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and, if war breaks out, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land.” (Exodus 1:8–10 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Can You help me to focus my attention on You in these ever-changing times?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can focus on God in the midst of uncertainties and changes.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your faith journey with a seeker of Christ.
