The last days is the entire period between the first advent of Jesus Christ and His second coming. The Apostle Paul openly speaks of the difficulties that people will encounter in this age, and one of the toughest things that all humans will have to face is the occurrence of multitudes of narcissists. If you pay close attention to the young and old people around you, many individuals merely don’t care about others, but only themselves. For sure the ‘Me’ Culture will thrive and prosper until Jesus Christ comes again. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
Ponder
1But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:1–2 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “God, can You give me the courage and strength to face the terrible times in the last days?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Practice soul searching on a regular basis and see if you are being self-centered in dealing with others.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. If you hurt your spouse or someone because of your self-centeredness, find the opportunity to apologise.
