I Am? (i365 Day 95) 2.0

According to Greek mythology, Indian, Chinese and other religions, there are many gods and goddesses existed in the universe. On the other hand, the Bible clearly proclaims that there is only one true God.

If you have to introduce yourself to a new acquaintance, for sure you wouldn’t say: “I am who I am”. Astonishingly, this is exactly how God introduced Himself to Moses.

Let’s ponder Moses’ encounter with God.

Ponder

14God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”(Exodus 3:14 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “God, why did You introduce Yourself like that to Moses?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. By learning God’s self-existence, it would help us to reflect on our own humble beginning on earth. And because of that, we should be humble at all times.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your new understanding of God’s self-existence with a small group member.
