After faithfully serving as a missionary for forty years, Henry C. Morrison and his wife came home by ship. They happened to be on the same ship that carried President Theodore Roosevelt. The adventurous President went to Africa on a safari trip. Leaning on the deck rail, Morrison saw signs of welcome everywhere for the President. Bands were playing music for the statesman. Flags were flying high for him. People came all the way to welcome him. As no one came to welcome Morrison and his wife, self-pity overcame the missionary. While sulking on the deck, God’s still small voice came to him, saying, “You’re not home yet”. It is a vivid testimony that God remembers the services of His people. Let’s ponder Hebrews 6:10.
Ponder
10For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. (Hebrews 6:10 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Can You affirm me that You remember my service?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Always remind yourself that God remembers your service. Serve Him with a willing heart.
Proclaim
