Family Feud (i365 Day 105) 2.0

Most families fight, this is a sad truth. Family members fight for various reasons. It could be overreactions, misunderstandings or some other causes. The truth of the matter is family feuds bring divisions, hurts, or even permanent destructions. No matter what, hurtful families should seek healing. There’s a story about a terrible family feud mentioned in the Bible, but there is reconciliation at the end (Genesis 50:15–21). Let’s ponder the beginning of this family conflict.

Ponder

3Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Joseph had been born to him in his old age. So one day Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph—a beautiful robe. 4But his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them. They couldn’t say a kind word to him. (Genesis 37:3–4 NLT)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “God, can You intervene my family conflict?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that God would grant you wisdom in dealing with your family problem.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. When opportunity arises, share your experience with the person who is having a family feud.
