Many students are scared of examination. I truly understand why they feel this way. On the other hand, if students pay attention in class and study well, there is no need for them to be afraid.
As followers of Christ, we should do some self-examination on a regular basis. We might think our faith and character are sound, but we still have to give them a test. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
Ponder
4Let each one examine his own work. Then he can take pride in himself and not compare himself with someone else. (Galatians 6:4 NET)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Can You show me my shortcomings?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Find time to examine your faith and character.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with your small group leader about your self-examination on your spirituality. Ask your leader to pray with you.
