In many parts of today’s world, pluralistic culture is very evident. In a pluralistic world, we have to live with differing views on many issues. It’s true that we should understand and respect others. For sure we must be tolerant of different views, but, as Christians, we should have a good understanding of our faith and have a firm standpoint, especially in the area of salvation, there’s no room for compromising. Let’s ponder Acts 4:12.
Ponder
12And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 ESV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “God, can You grant me the wisdom of living in a pluralistic culture?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pay attention to your non-believing friend’s views on an issue, and respectfully respond to his or her ideas.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with other Christians how you approach non-believing friends now.
