The Message (i365 Day 71) 2.0

Since day one of our earthly existence, we would pick up various bad habits day-to-day. Good habits are hard to keep but vices are here to stay. The Bible proclaims God’s saving grace for humankind. To trust Jesus as the Saviour is of utmost importance, but to continue to grow in spiritual maturity and character is equally vital as well.

The Apostle Paul encourages believers to discard old vices (Colossians 3:5-11), but to fill their minds with the gospel message about Christ (Colossians 3:16). As Christian songs are filled with the biblical truths, constantly singing these songs is beneficial to us as well. Let’s ponder Paul’s words.

Ponder

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. (Colossians 3:16 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can You help me to memorise more Bible verses?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Choose twelve Bible verses about salvation and memorise them by heart.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share the message of saving grace of Jesus Christ with a relative in person or by other means.
