Group Prayer (i365 Day 79) 2.0

If you haven’t had the initial experience of praying with other believers together, you would find group prayer awkward. I could still remember the first time I had to lead a closing prayer at a small group gathering. Because I didn’t have the experience, I found it challenging. There’s a first time for everything, besides praying with other believers is a good thing that we should all try. Let me encourage you to pray with one another. As Christians are brothers and sisters in Christ, a group prayer is simply a family gathering, in which we connect with our Father in heaven by means of praying. Let’s ponder the teaching about group prayer.

Ponder

20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Can You give me the courage to engage in group prayer?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Attend a church prayer meeting in the near future.

ProclaimLet’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your new experience of group prayer with other Christians.
