The father-son or father-daughter relationship is very important. Some fortunate people have fond memories with their fathers, but I’m sorry to say, some aren’t so privileged. It doesn’t matter whether you have an intimate relationship with your earthly father or not, but you can definitely have a close connection with Father God. Daniel shares his story of how he stayed close to God, rain or shine (Daniel 6). Let’s ponder his words. 

Ponder

¹⁰When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously. (Daniel 6:10 ESV)

Let’s pose a question to God. “Can I deepen my relationship with You?”

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your insight with those who don’t have a good father-son or father-daughter relationship. Encourage them to try out Christianity.
