The world is filled with people of different personalities. For instance, many individuals are moaners, numerous individuals are talkers and some are quitters. One of the types of personality I admire most is doers. I don’t like people who talk a lot but do little. I am delighted to find out my preference of personality is in line with the teaching of James. Let’s ponder his words. 

Ponder

²²But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ²³For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. (James 1:22–23 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can You help me to do more but talk less?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Do a good deed whenever you can.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your deed of kindness with someone as means to glorify God and to edify him or her.
