Claiming the Jackpot (i365 Day 70) 2.0

If you pay attention, there are numerous lottery commercials on television. Commercial characters often encourage viewers to “dream big!” In many commercials that I recall, actors often portrayed as the exhilarating lottery winners. Though claiming the jackpot can be exciting and ecstatic, I don’t recommend you to go for any sort of gambling or lottery.

According to the psalmist, his wish is not gaining sudden wealth. He admits he’s a lost soul who desperately needs God’s deliverance (Psalm 119:169–176). Let’s ponder the words of the psalmist.

Ponder

176I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments. (Psalm 119:176 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can You deliver me from this horrible situation?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to deliver you from the horrible situation that you’re facing now.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your joy of deliverance with a non-believer.
