Our Supernatural Protection 6: The Sword of The Holy Spirit (i365 Day 41) 2.0

Countless people are scared of ultra-sharp kitchen knives. According to the experts, ultra-sharp kitchen knives are much safer than dull blades. As dull knives are more likely to slip rather than cut slippery foods, the risk of hurting the users is high. Also, people tend to use more force to cut things with dull blades, causing many horrible accidents. Sharp knives are always safe but we must practice safe cutting techniques. My overall recommendation is that respect the knife.

The Bible talks about the ultra-sharp sword of God’s Spirit, which is the word of God. A famous Bible Scholar says, “The word of God serves both for attack and to parry the thrusts of the enemy.” Like I said earlier, respect the knife. Likewise, respect the ultra-sharp sword of God’s Spirit. Let’s ponder God’s Word.

Ponder

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17 NASB95)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can You teach me how to utilize Your Sword?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. If you encounter any temptation, respond to the situation by quoting a Bible verse.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Proclaim your victory before a fellow Christian.
