In the Midst of Darkness (i365 Day 62) 2.0

Are you scared of darkness? As a kid, I didn’t like nighttime. Honestly, darkness makes me anxious. Being in the darkness was a frightening experience. Several years ago, my family and I drove through an unfamiliar territory; what made it worse was it was pitch-dark as well as raining cats and dogs that night! All in all, it was a very nervous experience.

The whole world is engulfed in darkness! 2020 has just begun and we have already heard unfavorable news in various parts of the world. Honestly speaking, we really need a beacon to guide our unpredictable future. Psalm 119:105 speaks of God’s Word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Let’s ponder His words (Psalm 119:105-112).

Ponder

105Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can I experience more of Your guiding light in my life?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you would experience God’s guiding light in making a crucial decision.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your unique story of experiencing God’s guiding light with a non-believer.
