Our Supernatural Protection 2: The Breastplate of Righteousness (i365 Day 37) 2.0

For the safety of police officers and soldiers, they wear bulletproof vests as means to protect themselves. Likewise, ancient soldiers wear breastplates as protective covering.

The Apostle Paul talks about the “breastplate of righteousness” in the Letter to the Ephesians. By putting on the breastplate of righteousness, it means Christians are to reflect the righteous character of God in their actions. Interestingly, by living out God’s righteous character will provide us spiritual protection. Let’s ponder God’s Word.

Ponder

14Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14 NET)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord Jesus, how can I reflect Your righteous character in my daily living?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Helping others is always a right thing to do; so, assist those who are in need.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. God would use your righteous living to protect you. After experiencing this truth, share with others about it.
