Our Common Enemy (i365 Day 35) 2.0

Ever since the existence of humankind, people easily create their own enemies. Instead of making friends, numerous individuals intentionally or unintentionally make foes. Definitely, we cannot befriend everyone. One important thing is that earthly enemies aren’t as scary as spiritual enemies. In the spiritual world, Satan and his demons are our enemies. He is always at war with God’s children. The Devil or Satan is the real enemy of all humankind and we must be aware of his existence and devilish schemes. Let’s ponder God’s Word.

Ponder

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:10–13 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord Jesus, how can I overcome the Devil?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you would experience the supernatural strength in Christ.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your story of experiencing the supernatural strength in Christ with a new believer.
