Why do people attend Sunday services? Some individuals go to church seeking for the truth about Jesus Christ. Numerous churchgoers do so as a religious duty or tradition. Many truthful Christians long to hear inspiring messages. Countless congregants crave for inspirational songs. Sincere believers want to offer praises and thanksgivings to Jesus Christ because they love their Lord and Saviour. In a nutshell, the heart of worship isn’t solely about outward forms but it should come from our hearts. Worship is honour and adoration directed to our Lord and Saviour. Let’s ponder God’s Word.
9All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. 10For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. (Psalm 86:9–10 ESV)
Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can You teach me how to worship You? Do I worship God from the heart?”
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray to have a meaningful worship experience this coming Sunday.
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your worship experience with your small group.
