Annual Vacation (i365 Day 18) 2.0

Some hardworking people are longing for a break, but they have their own way of spending their vacation. Some young parents would spend their holidays with their children in a resort or amusement park, but they would need another vacation to recuperate from this trip. Some holidaymakers would spend time traveling, but after the hectic schedules of visiting many places, some would end up in exhaustion. If you asked me for opinion, I would recommend you to find some genuine rest in your vacation. Let’s ponder God’s Word.

Ponder

29He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29–31 ESV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, how can I renew my strength in You?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can learn to slow down your pace in life and ask God to renew your strength.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your refreshing vacation with your colleagues.
