A mother reminded her son that money was very important. She reminded him that without money, he couldn’t even pay for the transportation to commute between two places. We all need money for our basic necessities.

So what matters most in life? Money is crucial for our earthly survival but it isn’t the only thing that we need. What does Jesus teach us?

Ponder

³¹Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³²For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. ³³But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:31–33 ESV) Let’s ponder God’s Word.
