Believe or not, loneliness is a social epidemic that is impacting all walks of life around the world. It makes me think of an old song. The lyrics goes like this: 

Lonely voices crying in the city,
Lonely voices sounding like a child.
Lonely voices come from busy people,…
Lonely voices fill my dreams,
Lonely voices haunt my memory. Although we might find loneliness overwhelming, God is always there, waiting for us. Let’s ponder God’s Word.

Ponder

¹⁰ Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 HCSB)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Lord, can I encounter your friendship?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. When you find loneliness unbearable, it’s the best time to experience God’s friendship.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. After experiencing God’s friendship, share your special encounter with a non-believer.
