Some seekers of faith want to find God. When many sincere people encounter pain, they want to know where God is. Some Christians are struggling with their faith, they lament, “Why is that I cannot feel God?”
Genesis 1 speaks of God as the Creator and Ruler of the universe. By means of the created world and the amazing order that displays in His Creation, we know God exists. However, God is a spiritual being, therefore we cannot see Him with our earthly eyes. In our transient life on earth, there are ways to connect with Him. The roadmap that leads to seeing God in a spiritual way is reading the Bible and praying. Let’s ponder God’s Word.
Ponder
26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” (Genesis 1:26 NLT)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “In the midst of my struggles, O God, can I see You in a special way?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Be determined to encounter God in your daily life.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. After experiencing God in a special way, share your unique experience with your friends.
