Children often yell at the top of their lungs, saying, “It isn’t fair!” Although most grown-ups experience unfair treatments, they prefer to behave in a more civil manner. I always tell my family that this world is unfair, but God is and will be the Judge of everything and everyone.
No local church is perfect, and Jesus Christ judges His congregations according to their motives and actions (Revelation 2 and 3). Satan and his demonic force will fail miserably and will be judged by God in the end (Revelation 20:7–10). Although the Devil seduces humanity to sin against God, all the dead and the living must be responsible for their own deeds. The Great White Throne of God will appear one day, and He will judge non-believers according to what they have done during their lives. (Revelation 20:11–15). As for Christians, they will stand before the judgment seat of Christ on a different occasion (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10; and 1 Corinthians 3:10–15). Everyone will be judged, and there is no exception!
Life is unfair in many ways! Evildoers do whatever they want and tyrannise over others, as if there is no rule of law at all in the world! Fair or unfair? Let’s remember that God will appear as the Judge one day!
