True or False?

Do you like taking tests or exams? Although I am not keen of taking examinations, I have to admit it is necessary to check on our academic progress and level. Like it or not, it is one of the best ways to verify your academic knowledge.

Exam questions can be of various types: true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blanks, essay, etc.

If all self-professed Christians have to go through some sort of exam, here are some of the questions that I would like to ask:

I.        True or false

Are you a Christian?

You might respond in saying, “That’s easy. It’s either true or false, and there’s no in-between.”

II.       Multiple choice (Choose one of the following answers)

How do you know you are a Christian?

A. Christians attain salvation by doing good works.

B. Christians go to church on Sundays.

C. I am a Christian because I don’t sin anymore.

D. A Christian is a person who loves God very much.

E.  A Christian is a person who has received Jesus Christ as His Lord and Saviour.

III.     Fill in the blanks

8For by grace you have been saved through _______. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of _______, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8–9 ESV)

IV.     Essay (Describe how you became a Christian in under 500 words)

I was born into a Christian family. My father is a pastor. I go to church every Sunday. When I was a teenager, most of the teenagers in my youth group wanted to be baptized, and I reckoned it was a good thing, therefore I was baptized too! Well, Christianity is in my blood, Christianity is a way of life for me. I am sure I am a Christian!

Do you think this person is a Christian?

Just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, all self-professed Christians will undergo severe tests on their faiths. During that time, Christians have to endure terrible persecutions. By means of these inhumane oppressions, they will testify to others whether their faiths are true or false.
