The disciples of Jesus saw the beauty and majesty of the Jewish temple, but they couldn’t see the fate of this remarkable building. When Jesus foretold the destruction of the iconic Jewish landmark, his response triggered the disciples to ask a deeper question: “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:13 ESV)
Because of this question, Jesus foretold the important things that would happen shortly before He came again. Not only that, Jesus directed their attention to several key points, as these things would surely change their thoughts, mindsets and perspectives.

What Do You See? 1
What we see and how we respond to life issues are crucial because these affect a lot of things. For sure, our perspectives influence our relationships, mental health, and personal growth. More importantly, what we see and how we respond can shape our character and spiritual well-being.
Three days before Jesus was nailed on the cross, He preached a sermon on the Mount of Olives which we called the Olivet Discourse. This message is found in Matthew 24–25, Mark 13 and Luke 21.
The World Is Paving the Way for the Antichrist 3
After the rapture of the church, the whole world will become more chaotic. Widespread political and financial instability will be the norm. In such fearful times, people will desperately seek for a powerful leader to unite divided nations, to provide solutions and security. In times such as this, Satan will bring his conspirator to the world stage. When the time is right, the Antichrist will claim divinity and exercise authority over the entire world. Being empowered by the Devil, the Antichrist will rule over the world politically, religiously, and economically (Revelation 13:4–5, 15–18). We are living in a chaotic world. The political world is chaotic, and the financial world is the same. Additionally, the religious world is in chaos. Can you see the stage is set for the appearance of the Antichrist?
The World Is Paving the Way for the Antichrist 2

Certain politicians are simply well known for their angry demeanour and rants. Instead of making productive policies and creating a safer environment for their constituents, some ill-tempered political leaders spend most of their time lashing out their anger at their opponents, thus provoking their supporters into angry remarks and behaviour.
The World Is Paving the Way for the Antichrist 1
Autocrats think they are very powerful, but compared with the most powerful dictator who will appear on the political arena, they are just small potatoes. The most powerful dictator in human history is the Antichrist. He is an accomplice of Satan, and the chief perpetrator of the Devil’s evil scheme. Satan has another helper, that is, the false prophet. With the assistance of the false prophet (Revelation 16:13), the Antichrist will rise to absolute power (Revelation 13:11-18).
An Exceptional Orator
People often say it is not what you say but how you say it. It is very true in the past and especially true now. In essence, non-verbal expressions like tone of voice, body language, and facial expressions are often more impactful in conveying a message than the speech itself. With a convincing tone of voice and coupled with a confident body language, dishonest individuals can successfully mislead their hearers with misinformation and disinformation.
