Sadly, because of COVID-19, numerous convocations have been cancelled. If you were a recent graduate, I am really sorry there is no physical convocation held for you. However, one important thing is that years of your hard work are never in vain. Congratulations!
Not only convocations are times of celebrations, but they also are marks of transitions. Jesus discipled His twelve followers for three years. After being with them for a period of time, Jesus Christ dispatched them to the mission field. The twelve disciples are in transition from being instructed directly from their Teacher to on-the-job training. Let’s ponder Luke 9:1–2.
Ponder
1Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. (Luke 9:1–2 NKJV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “What should I learn and do in my mission field?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you would do what God wants you to learn and do in your mission field.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a believer the things that you have learnt and accomplished in your mission field.
